A little preparation makes migration much smoother. Collect the items below before we start so we're not waiting on access mid-project.
What to have ready
- A full backup or export of your current site and its database.
- Access to your domain registrar (to change nameservers or DNS at go-live).
- A list of your current DNS records, especially MX and email TXT records.
- Any environment variables, credentials, or third-party integrations the site relies on.
- A list of the key pages and features we should test on staging before go-live.
