Email MX records
How to route email for your domain with MX records — and keep it working after you move hosting.

Hosting your website with us does not move your email. Email is routed separately by MX records that point at whichever mail provider you use. This is important during a migration: if you change nameservers, you must recreate your existing MX and email TXT records so mail keeps flowing.
- Before changing DNS, record your current MX records and their priorities.
- Also record any email TXT records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
- After delegating to us — or when editing DNS — recreate those exact records.
- Send a test email to and from your domain to confirm delivery.
