Overview
An uptime monitor probes every active customer domain every 5 minutes over HTTPS. Each check records whether the site is up or down, the response latency, and feeds a rolling uptime ratio. When a domain changes state — up to down, or back — the ops team is alerted so someone looks at it quickly.
The same signal powers the public status page at /status, which reflects the live state of monitored domains. Monitoring is honest about what it measures: it's an external HTTPS probe of your domain, not deep application tracing.
How it works

Your domain is registered for checks
When your site goes live, its domain is added to the active monitoring set automatically.

A probe runs every 5 minutes
The monitor makes an HTTPS request to your domain, records up/down and the latency, and updates the rolling uptime ratio.

State changes trigger alerts
If a domain flips from up to down (or recovers), the ops team is alerted so the change is investigated promptly.

The status page reflects it
The public /status page shows the live up/down state drawn from the same monitoring data.
