Backups

Scheduled daily backups on managed hosting, with retention windows and restore-on-request — recovery is a procedure, not a hope.

Overview

On managed cPanel/WordPress hosting, we take real per-site backups daily and keep a recent restore point for each account, so a specific site can be rolled back to a recent day. These backups live on our Riyadh infrastructure, keeping your data inside the Kingdom. Per-site backups for PaaS/Docker apps are still rolling out — until they land, those apps rely on our control-plane snapshot plus your own copies, not a per-site restore point.

Backups are a safety net for recovery — accidental data loss, a bad deploy, or host trouble. We're transparent about exactly what is covered per plan, and we recommend keeping your own independent copies of anything truly critical.

How it works

  1. 1

Managed hosting is backed up daily

On our managed cPanel/WordPress node, a daily job produces a real per-site restore point for each account, automatically, on our Riyadh hosts.

  2. 2

    Restore points are retained

Recent daily restore points are kept so there's a rolling window of days to recover a covered site from.

  3. 3

    You request a restore

If something goes wrong on a covered site, contact us with the point in time you need and our team restores from the appropriate daily backup.

Under the hood

  • Real per-site restore points come from WHM on our managed cPanel/WordPress node — the platform only reports a site as backed up when WHM shows a genuine recent restore point for it.

  • Backup data stays on the Riyadh infrastructure, so recovery copies never leave Saudi data residency.

  • A separate control-plane job snapshots platform state (orders, subscriptions, domains, nginx vhosts) daily — it is not a substitute for a per-site application backup.

  • Per-site backups for PaaS/Docker-hosted apps are still rolling out; until then those apps do not have a per-site restore point, so keep your own copies.

Frequently asked questions

Which sites get real backups today?

Sites on our managed cPanel/WordPress hosting get real daily per-site restore points. Per-site backups for PaaS/Docker-hosted apps are still rolling out — until then, keep your own copies of anything critical.

How do I restore from a backup?

For a covered site, contact us with the date or point in time you need. Our team restores from the appropriate daily backup and confirms when your site is back to that state.

Where are backups stored?

On our Riyadh infrastructure, so your backup data stays within Saudi Arabia, just like your live site.

Should I still keep my own backups?

Yes — for anything truly critical we recommend keeping independent copies. This is especially important for PaaS/Docker apps, which do not yet have a per-site restore point.
