Sites on managed cPanel/WordPress hosting are backed up automatically every day; daily backups are rolling out for PaaS apps. Backups run without any action from you, giving you recent restore points to fall back on if something goes wrong with your content or configuration.
What's covered
Backups capture your site's files and data as of the daily snapshot. They're intended for recovery — restoring a working state after an accidental change, a bad deploy, or data loss — not as a substitute for your own version control or off-platform copies of critical data.
